[sixtieth launch -- video]
[ There seems to be loud blustery wind sounding and the shaking of windowpanes. A moment after, there's a series of cracks, growing in magnitude until a loud smashing sound resonates. Nearly gale force wind hits and there's sounds of rustling. ]
Gino, get into my room!
[ There's more rustling until they stop for the cat. He's taken shelter! But the video comes up on Kai who immediately jumps into action by trying to work through those winds. ]
[ The communicator is spun around, showing a view of Tohma who's leaning against the window, arms crossed over his chest and deep in thought. The fierce winds pick up, causing the window that he's leaning against to break, which causes him to topple over and eventually fall out of that window. ]
Tohma!
[ Kai skids to a halt, reaching an arm out to catch Tohma while he's using distributing his weight so that he doesn't end up falling himself. ]
[ There's sounds of struggling until Kai manages to save Tohma's life by dragging him in. Just as that happens, more of the windows threaten to break, and Kai takes a preemptive measure to tackle Tohma to the ground, using his body as a shield. The windows break, with glass flying everywhere. They stop breaking and it seems like there's nothing but the wind howling.
After a bit, Kai decides it's safe for now to get up. There's blood coming out of his hands due to the glass being stuck in there. He grunts, shaking his head and getting off of Tohma. ]
Tohma, are you all right?
( OOC: There's going to be a comment log following this, so if your character lives in Horton, feel free to find them! Also, this is backdated to the morning. :D )

[ Dammit. Why was he leaning against the window of all places? What had he been thinking? ]
[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ He will remain strong. He cannot afford to show weakness now. ]

[ Tohma was more than happy to turn around and head to the storage closet. If did happen to fall apart, he didn't want to do it in front of Hiwatari. He rummaged around for a minute or two before returning to Hiwatari, the supplies in his arms. ]
...Do you want me to do it?
[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ Under normal circumstances, Kai would do it himself, but there was the blustery cold and absolutely bitter conditions to deal with. If he didn't get it treated soon, it would get infected and Kai couldn't do that to himself. ]

[ Tohma set the antiseptic and bandages on the table, took Hiwatari's hand in his own, and carefully started removing the shards of glass. ]
What were you thinking, pulling me inside....? You shouldn't have done that.
[ At least being skilled with his hands finally was good for something useful. ]
What if you had fallen with me?
[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ He bites his tongue, swallowing the pain down. ]
[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ He frowned for a moment. ]
I'm sorry if it hurts... I'm doing my best to be gentle.
[ It took a few more minutes to remove the slivers of glass and he scanned Hiwatari's hand several times to make sure he hadn't missed any pieces. ]
All right....
[ And he started applying the antiseptic, hoping it wouldn't hurt Hiwatari too much. ]
[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ Kai kept on repeating several different mantras in his head until the pain was effectively blocked out of his mind. He was strong and by focusing on other things, the antiseptic didn't affect him that much. ]
[mandatory commentlog of win]
I apologize... for all the trouble I seem to have given you recently. Truly, I am sorry.
[ He set aside the antiseptic aside and grabbed the bandages instead. He knew that bandaging someone else's hand would be much easier than the time he had tried to bandage his own hand, and for that he was thankful. ]
[mandatory commentlog of win]
It's fine.
[ He didn't know why Tohma was so hung up about it, but the snow coming in didn't do much. He hoped he didn't get frostbite. ]
[mandatory commentlog of win]
He finished bandaging Hiwatari's hand--not perfect, but not entirely bad--and gathered the supplies in his arms again. ]
I don't think it is, but if you say so.
[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ Now that his hand was bandaged, Kai forced himself to stand, looking around for anything to fix the windows. ]
[mandatory commentlog of win]
It's my fault, so....[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ Kai finds a large enough sheet to pin against the wall. He knows that's not going to hold long against winds like these, so he searches for something heavier. The coffee table would have to do. He started to work on keeping the snow out, even though he just got his hand taken care of. But he was a stubborn individual.
Pushing the bookshelves against the wall, he was satisfied with his work. The living room looked a bit barren with most of the furniture stacked up against where the windows once stood, but he was proud. Let's not show the tiredness here. ]

[ He looks at the glass on the floor, moving around to get the dustpan and broom to sweep it up. ]

[ Kai hands the dustpan and broom to Tohma, seeing a little blood leaking out onto the bandages. Disregarding it, he goes into his room to go console Gino. ]
[mandatory commentlog of win]
I saw that, Hiwatari-kun. The blood. You're bleeding again.
[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ Kai comforts his pet cat the best he can, and eventually he calms down. This makes him happy and he gently takes Gino into his arms, petting behind his ears and under his chin. ]
... Did you just call me "Hiwatari-kun"?
[mandatory commentlog of win]
...Had he? He honestly didn't remember. If he had, it had slipped out by mistake. ]
I don't think so.
[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ Kai studies his hand again, not at all bothered at the discomfort. ]
Are you sure you're fine?
[mandatory commentlog of win]
[ Apparently Tohma needed to pay more attention to what he was saying if he was letting such casual honorifics slip out. It may have been a normal thing for people to do but... Well, Tohma didn't exactly fall into that category. ]
I am. Really. If I did call you that, I apologize. It was inappropriate of me.
