[ When Cuddy reaches the fifth floor, she'll find the door has been opened to Kai's apartment, followed by a rather rambunctious cat who's playing with a crinkled up paper ball and pouncing it. Kai's overseeing the cat, trying hard to not smile at his antics. ]

[ Kai nods and he removes his scarf, putting it down on a table. It's obvious there's weights in it at how hard it falls. Then, he slips off his black short-sleeved jacket, followed by his purple shirt. He has bandages running up from his neck down to his lower back.

He takes and unrolls the bandages to reveal several stitches that have been in his back ever since that day when people went insane. ]

Mm, there.

[ However, as Cuddy gets a closer look, she'll see his torso is nearly covered in scars, most of them focused on his back and his chest. ]

That's enough that you're going to want to get them taken out at the hospital. If you come back with me now, I can make sure that a doctor is available to see you.
