[ When the image stops being blurry and all, there's what looks like to be Kai dressed in hospital robes, as there's bandages tied around his neck, going downward, laying in a bed. He seems to be doing all right, if you can ignore the fact that he does look pretty weak. There's rustling as Kai wakes up, letting out a quiet groan. He looks around at his surroundings, seeing that Dranzer and its' launcher are on his bed side. Sighing, he picks up the communicator, looking down into it, as he switches the communicator to voice. ]

Everyone, shut up and stop complaining. What's done is done, and it's over and done with. Instead of needlessly being upset over things, fix them without feeling sorry for yourself. Yeah, you attacked your friends, your loved ones, but it's tiring to hear you all whine and moan about it. Do something else than sit around and mope, like, oh I haven't the faintest clue...

[Fiddling with her fingers before putting her hands behind her back, the girl approached closer to him and fell mute for a moment; thinking of the right words to say.]

I wish to thank you for...the other night.

[ Kai blinked once, not letting Alice see that. It helps him to know that someone appreciated his help. Nodding his head, he relaxed his body as to not aggravate those terrible wounds. ]

Don't mention it.

[She shifted her weight from one foot to the other and then decided to move closer. Carefully, Alice took a sit on the foot of his bed and gazed at him curiously.]

Perhaps I could be of some help? Would you like something to eat or maybe something to drink? I can fetch it for you.

[ Kai curled up on his bed, placing his chin on his knees. He looked at his lap momentarily, shaking his head. ]

I'll be fine.

[And for a bit, Alice said nothing. She couldn't really. She didn't fully understood what had happened to her the last two days, in fact those days were a bit fuzzy to her. Nevertheless, the girl continued to sat by him until the door crept open that almost seemed on its own. But it was only her cat, Dinah that decided to wander in.]

[Alice got to her feet and walked over to her pet, scooping her gently in her arms before taking back her previous spot.]

I must say, you were very brave to do what you did. I'm very sure that a lot of them are truly grateful.

[ Kai glanced at the door to see Dinah walking in. The cat reminded him of his own back in his apartment, as well as the ones he took care of back home. Yet, he wouldn't let a smile form to his face, as a neutral expression fell. He looked to the side, shrugging a little. ]

If they're not going to continue to act like idiots, then that's fine. However, not much changes about this stupid place, so I'm not going to keep my hopes up.

If you're talking about the hospital, no. Only two or so days. Discedo? About three months and counting.

Goodness, that is a while. I've only been here for a few weeks. And I'm still trying to get the knack of things.

Here's a general thing about this place:

Everything fucking sucks. Everyone dies, and people are glorified idiots. In other words, welcome to Discedo. Hope you enjoy your stay.

[She frowns at him and pets Dinah quietly.]

[Alice exhales out a tiny giggle and lets Dinah on the bed; who approaches Kai with a mew.]

[ Kai looks at Dinah, smiling just a little as he brings his hand down to let the cat sniff it. ]

She's nice.

Oh yes, Dinah is very kind.

[Dinah sniffs his hand and then gives him a tiny lick before mewing again.]

[ Okay, animals are his weakness. Kai keeps his small smile up as he pets Dinah on the head. ]

And cute, too.

I believe she likes you.

Mm, I'm glad.

[ Kai keeps on petting Dinah, wishing that he could have a toy for her to play with. ]

I am ever so grateful that this place gave me Dinah. I must say, I was so worried for her being alone without me.

Mm.
